What Roadrunner does
Roadrunner shares the nature you saw on each activity with your Strava followers. It pulls the species you logged in your favorite nature apps — eBird and iNaturalist — onto the Strava activity whose time window they fall in, with counts from eBird checklists and names from iNaturalist.
- It reads your most recent Strava activities and your latest observations from the nature apps you've linked.
- It matches them by overlapping date and time.
- For each match, it writes a ”Nature seen during activity” block into the Strava description — existing text is kept, and re-syncing never duplicates it.
Heads up: only eBird checklists with a recorded duration can be matched (incidental observations without a duration are skipped), and iNaturalist observations need a recorded time to place them in an activity.
